Drum dance hula .. keeping pace with the speed of the drum beat

Drum dance hula is the speed merchant of all hula dances, when you can do the drum dance especially the drum dance from the south pacific area like the Cook Islands and Tahiti, you have mastered for females one of the quickest hip sway movements you can envisage.

As for the male counter part the knee knocking quickness with jumping actions and strong fast hand and arm movements are another factor you can accomplish when you are experienced in the drum dance, and when you combine both dances the hula reveal you will get is out of this world.

You will and will need to be pretty fit with a strong mind and patience to sustain the drum dance at the required speed, you will sweat and get puffed when truly doing the drum dance hula.

But that is part and parcel of doing a hula that can generate hip and knee speeds that you could only dream of doing, but as they say "dreams can come true", you only need to want it as much as it wants you.

So .. the practising can and will be long and intense but it needs to be, nothing great happens over night unless you are bitten by a radioactive spider.
